In brief
- Anyone can report a concern about a product or a shop. We review every report.
- We contact you about a report only if you tick "You may contact me".
- Brand, CAC number, inspection and suspension disputes are decided by a person on our team.
- A shop can ask to be taken off a listing, and anyone can report a message from a brand.
- We pass information to regulators where the law requires. We do not decide on product safety.
1.How to raise a complaint or dispute
For anything on this page, write to support@sabireal.com. Put the subject line shown in each section, so your message reaches the right person, and include any reference, product code or company name you have.
SabiReal is a brand of Worllet Limited, a company registered in Nigeria.
RC number: 7014396.
Address: Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
We confirm we have your message, tell you who is handling it, and tell you the outcome. If you are not happy with the outcome, reply and ask for it to be looked at again by a different person on our team.
2.Reports about a product or a seller
If something about a product or the shop that sold it worries you, use "Report a concern" on the check result at verify.sabireal.com, or tell us on WhatsApp. Tell us what you saw and where you bought it.
What happens next:
- We review every report. We may link it with other reports about the same code or product and open a case.
- We may share what you told us about the product and where it was sold with the brand concerned, so it can act. We never share your contact details with the brand.
- We contact you only if you ticked "You may contact me". You can withdraw that at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or by writing to us, and we delete your contact.
- We never call a product fake. A report starts a review; it is not a finding.
If you think a product has harmed someone, get medical help first, then contact the regulator for that product (see the last section).
3.Brand ownership disputes
When a company registers a brand whose name matches or closely resembles another company's brand, or a well-known brand, we hold it until our team confirms who owns it. A held brand cannot be used on codes.
If you own a brand that another company has registered or is trying to register, write to us with "Brand dispute" in the subject line. Send proof that the brand is yours, such as a trademark registration, product registrations in your name, or other records. A person on our team reviews the evidence from both sides and decides. We may remove the brand from the other company's account.
4.Company registration (CAC) number disputes
A CAC number typed at registration is only a claim until we verify it against the CAC record. If another company has claimed your CAC number, write to us with "CAC dispute" in the subject line from an address we can link to your company.
Our team checks the CAC record. If the number was claimed by the wrong company, our team releases it so you can verify it. Releasing a number needs two people on our team: one requests it and a different person approves it.
5.Factory inspection disputes
A failed inspection lists the items to fix. Once you have fixed them, rebook an inspection in the manufacturer portal at business.sabireal.com.
If you think a result is wrong, write to us with "Inspection review" in the subject line, saying which items you dispute and why, with any photos or records. A person who did not carry out or review the original inspection looks at it again. They may confirm the result, change it, or ask for a new inspection. How inspections work is explained at https://sabireal.com/legal/inspections.
6.Suspension appeals
We may suspend a company, a brand, a product or a set of codes, for example while we look into a serious concern. While suspended, new codes cannot be issued for what is suspended, and a check on its codes may show "Suspended".
We tell you why, unless the law or an investigation stops us. To appeal, write to us with "Suspension appeal" in the subject line, explain why the suspension should be lifted and send any evidence. A different person on our team from the one who suspended reviews your appeal and tells you the decision.
7.Taking down stockist listings and messages
Stockist listings: a brand may list the shops that sell its products, and a shop may add itself. A listing added by a shop reads "Added by the shop. Not yet confirmed" until the brand confirms it. If you run a shop and want to be taken off a listing, or a listing about you is wrong, use the report option on the listing or write to us with "Listing removal" in the subject line. Our team reviews it and removes the listing where it should not be there. Every removal is recorded.
Messages from brands: brands can send WhatsApp messages only to consumers who opted in, and links in those messages are filtered. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP. If a message is misleading, offensive or unlawful, write to us with "Message report" in the subject line and include a screenshot. We may stop that brand's messages while we look into it.
8.Escalation to regulators
We are not a regulator and we do not decide whether a product is safe or meets a standard. Those decisions belong to the regulators: NAFDAC for food, drinks, drugs and cosmetics, SON for standards, and the FCCPC for consumer protection.
Where the law requires, or where a regulator lawfully asks, we pass on the information we hold about a code, a product or a report. We share only what is needed, and never a reporter's contact details without their consent unless the law requires it.
You can also contact these regulators directly at any time.
