Business Terms

Running a manufacturer account and the services on your codes.

Last updated 2 November 2026 · Version 1

  • These terms apply when you register a company on the manufacturer portal and use our services.
  • We verify your company with its CAC record and your representative with their NIN and a selfie, and we inspect your factory before your codes go live.
  • You pay per code when codes are issued, from ₦10 per code. Activating a code is at no extra cost.
  • A check shows which registered company issued a code for which product. We do not test, certify or approve products.
  • You must give true information, protect your codes and tell us about misuse.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
  1. 1.About these terms

    These Business Terms apply between SabiReal ("we", "us", "our") and the company that registers on our manufacturer portal at business.sabireal.com ("you", "your"). You accept them when you register.

    SabiReal is a brand of Worllet Limited, a company registered in Nigeria.

    RC number: 7014396.

    Address: Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

    They work together with our Payments, Pricing and Refunds policy, our Acceptable Use Policy, our SabiReal Seal and Code Use Guidelines, our Data Processing Terms and our Privacy Policy. Where one of those documents deals with a topic in more detail, it applies to that topic.

    If you have a question about these terms, email support@sabireal.com with "Business terms" in the subject line.

  2. 2.Your account and who may register

    Only a person authorised to act for the company may register it. By registering, you confirm that you have that authority and that you accept these terms for the company.

    To open an account you give your name, work email and a password, and you confirm your phone number with a code we send by SMS. We accept Nigerian +234 numbers only.

    You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your password private, give access only to people who work for your company, and tell us at once at support@sabireal.com if you think someone else has used your account.

  3. 3.How we verify your company and your representative

    You give us your CAC number (RC, BN or IT) and your trading name. We look up the CAC record through our verification provider, Dojah, and show you the details for you to confirm. Your company is verified automatically when the record is active and the name matches. Unclear cases go to our team. We never reject a company automatically.

    A CAC number you type is only a claim until we verify it. If a number is claimed by the wrong company, our team can release it, with a second team member approving.

    Your representative verifies their identity with their NIN and a selfie through Dojah. We store a keyed hash of the NIN, not the NIN itself. The selfie is sent to Dojah for the face match and we do not keep it.

    Verification confirms that a company is registered and active and that the representative is who they say they are. It is not a review of your business, your products or your premises.

  4. 4.Brands and conflict holds

    When you add a brand, we approve it automatically unless its name matches or closely resembles another company's brand or a well-known brand.

    In that case we hold the brand while our team confirms that you own it. We may ask you for evidence, such as a trademark registration or proof of use. We tell you the outcome.

    You confirm that you own each brand you add or are authorised by its owner to use it. If we learn that you do not have that right, we may hold or remove the brand and suspend codes issued under it.

  5. 5.Products and NAFDAC or SON numbers

    Products you add are approved automatically. For regulated categories you must give the NAFDAC or SON number that applies to the product.

    We record the number you give. We do not judge whether it is correct, current or valid, and recording it is not an approval by us or by any regulator. Keeping your registrations with NAFDAC, SON or any other authority current is your responsibility.

  6. 6.Test codes

    Once your company and your representative are verified, you may issue up to 200 test codes for your company, in batches of up to 50, so you can try printing and checking.

    When anyone checks a test code, the result says: "This is a test code. It does not identify a real product."

    Test codes must never appear on products offered for sale.

  7. 7.Factory inspection

    Before your codes go live, we inspect your factory. You book a date from the dates our team publishes for your state, and our inspector visits on that date.

    A different person from the inspector reviews the result. One passed inspection approves the factory, the production lines observed and the products seen. It is valid for 365 days, and we remind you before it expires.

    A line you add after an inspection stays pending until the next inspection covers it.

    If an inspection fails, we list the items to fix. Issuing codes at that factory pauses until it passes again. You may book a new inspection when you are ready.

    An inspection confirms what our inspector observed on the day. It is not a test of your products, a quality or safety approval, or a regulator's inspection.

    You agree to give our inspector safe access to the areas they need to see, and to answer their questions truthfully.

  8. 8.Codes

    Each unit carries a unique 8-character product code and a QR code. After a valid inspection, ordering, paying for and issuing codes is automatic.

    You pay per code when codes are issued, at order. We issue codes only after payment. Activating a code is at no extra cost and is your choice. Our Payments, Pricing and Refunds policy explains prices, payment and refunds.

    You print the codes and apply them to your products and packaging. You are responsible for printing them clearly, applying each code to one unit only, and keeping a record of which codes went on which products.

    Codes are issued for the products and factory approved on your account. You may not use them on any other product.

  9. 9.Your duties

    You agree to:

    • give us true, complete and current information, and update it when it changes;
    • make no claim about your products, in packaging, marketing or anywhere else, that goes beyond what a check shows;
    • never suggest that we, NAFDAC, SON or any regulator have approved or endorsed your products because they carry our codes;
    • protect your codes from copying, theft and misuse, including unused codes and print files;
    • tell us promptly at support@sabireal.com if you learn that your codes are being copied, misused or applied to products you did not make;
    • follow our Acceptable Use Policy and our SabiReal Seal and Code Use Guidelines;
    • comply with the laws that apply to your products and your business, including product registration, labelling, consumer protection and data protection laws.
  10. 10.Optional services

    You may turn on these services. Each is off until you choose it.

    • Warranty: you may offer a warranty and write its terms. Consumers see your terms on the check page and may register. The warranty is yours. We display your terms and pass registrations and claims to you, and you handle every claim.
    • Scan & Win: you may run a campaign where entries come from checks. Winners are drawn with a published seed commitment and a public proof page. You are the promoter, and you are responsible for your campaign terms, the prizes and any regulatory approvals.
    • Consumer Connect: you may send WhatsApp messages, such as product news and updates, only to consumers who opted in to hear from your brand. Consumers can stop at any time by replying STOP. We filter links in broadcasts. The service uses Meta's WhatsApp Business platform, and you must follow Meta's rules as well as ours.
    • Stockists: you may list the shops that sell your products, and shops may add themselves. A listing added by a shop says it is not yet confirmed by your brand until you confirm it. You confirm only shops you know sell your products.

    Where these services involve personal data, our Data Processing Terms apply.

  11. 11.Market insights

    We show you where your products are checked, by state and city. These insights are aggregated, and small numbers are suppressed so that no one can be singled out. We never show you who checked a product.

    Locations are approximate and come from the network, not GPS. Use the insights as a guide to your market.

  12. 12.Suspension and termination

    You may close your account at any time by emailing support@sabireal.com with "Close account" in the subject line.

    We may hold a brand, pause issuance, suspend your account, or suspend or revoke codes if you break these terms or our policies, if information you gave us is false, if we receive a credible report of misuse, or if the law or an authority requires it. Where we can, we tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.

    When your account ends, codes already issued may keep showing the record of who issued them, so that consumers can still check products already on the market. We may show a code as suspended where that is needed to protect consumers. You must stop applying our codes and the SabiReal seal to new products.

    Ending your account does not cancel amounts you already owe, or the sections of these terms that by their nature continue, such as liability, intellectual property and disputes.

  13. 13.What a check is

    A check confirms that a code is registered in our system and was issued by a named company for a named product. It is not a test of the contents and it is not a regulator's approval. We do not test, certify or approve products, and we are not NAFDAC, SON or any regulator.

  14. 14.Intellectual property

    You keep all rights in your brands, logos and product information. You allow us to use them to run our services, for example to show your company and product names on check results and in your portal.

    The SabiReal name, the SabiReal seal, our software and our content belong to us. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to print the SabiReal seal on registered units carrying codes we issued to you, while your account is active and only as our SabiReal Seal and Code Use Guidelines allow. You may not use the seal or our name in any other way without our written permission.

  15. 15.Our liability

    We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise that they will always be available or without errors, and we do not give any promise about your products.

    We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or labelling of your products, for your warranty, campaigns or messages, for codes copied or misused by others, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as power, network or provider outages.

    We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue or goodwill. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us for codes in those 12 months.

    Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law, including liability for fraud.

    You are responsible for claims made against us that arise from your products, your claims about them, your campaigns or messages, or your breach of these terms.

  16. 16.Disputes and governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

    If you have a complaint, email support@sabireal.com with "Complaint" in the subject line. We will try to resolve it with you in good faith. If we cannot, either of us may take the dispute to the Nigerian courts.

  17. 17.Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms. We show the date of the latest version on this page and tell you about important changes by email or in your portal before they take effect. If you keep using our services after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply. If you do not agree, you may close your account.
